Well. Well.

It has been a while since I have written anything. I have been busy, but not if that makes sense. I feel that when I am busy, I am full blown busy. When I finally get a moment or a day to rest, I don't want to do anything. I had been really busy leading up to memorial day weekend that when it came I was so tired I didn't want to do anything. Then by the time the weekend was over I felt guilty because I didn't do anything productive. The mind of a woman right.

My boss closed the office at lunch time on Friday, the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, which was absolutely sweet. Well, I have been wanting to take Zoe up to a new secret spot we found at Lake Lanier. We wanted to get her to the water because it seemed at home that she liked it. Bogie hates the water. So, we didn't want Zoe to hate it. So, I rushed home to change and pack a few things, including the dogs. We made it and it was beautiful. My first time at Lake Lanier. Love the spot. I took pictures with my cellphone of Zoe swimming, but i can't get them on here. I know I am a bozo. So, one day I will get more and post them. She is so cute.

This weekend some of Josh's family was in town. We hiked up Stone Mountain. Gosh it was hard. We took a camera too, thought those would definitly be great pictures to post, but the batteries were dead when we went to take a picture. It figures. So, sorry for the boring blog with no pictures.

Josh found a really awesome message too the other day. I need to figure out how to get that on the blog too. So, sorry for no updates recently, but stay tuned I am working on it.

Last night I had a really good time. We surprised Marcy for her birthday. We took her out for a pedicure and dinner. It was a lot of fun. Here is a shot of what I went home with.

This week has been full already. I have been so tired lately. Almost everyday after work I will come home to take a nap for like an hour. I don't know what is wrong with me. I need to probably take better care of myself. I am super glad that summer is here. I love the warm weather and just sitting outside in it. I can't wait to go to the pool and work on a tan.

Mother's day is coming. The in-laws are coming over for dinner. Josh is searching through all our cookbooks for a good menu. Lately, he has been cooking our main dishes and I cook the sides. He recently got a new grill and loves to use it. I can't complain. A man who cooks is hard to find. He makes amazing food as well. Josh has been really good to me lately. He brought me home flowers this week too. I think they are some of my favorites because I smell them as soon as I walk in the door. That is one of my favorite things. I hope when I get to heaven that I get to maintain the gardens.

Has anyone ever wished that hey had someone clean their house for them. Some of you might have them and boy do I envy you. I wish so bad for someone to come clean my house. Most of the time it isn't a big deal, but when I am tired and don't have much time to do it, it stinks. So this week, I am half tempted to try and find someone to clean my house. Maybe I will get good rest and have time this weekend.

Also, Zach's, a good friend of ours, dad passed away yesterday. It was a little bit of a surprise. We all knew his dad wasn't in the greatest of health, but we didn't expect this so soon. Zach seems to be doing really well, Lauren too. If you think about it pray for them and their family, some of them do not know the Lord and this could be a great wittness. I have spilled all my guts for today. Hope to hear from ya'll.

Today we found out that Josh's promotion was retracted. Josh was replacing someone leaving for another job. Well, unknown to Josh, the other guy made an agreement with the company that if his new job didn't work out could he have his job back. Well, turns out he came back. This means a lot of things. Josh had turned down a grand opening for this new position which was more money, and the manager didn't give him as much of a raise on his review because he said it would look better for him when they decided on his raise for the new position. So, Josh is pretty much back to square one. He isn't going to get the great schedule now either. Josh is going to try and get a better raise, but also in the course of this new position he turned down a really good job offer. Pray for us. We know that God has a plan for us. We know his ways are higher then ours and that all our needs will be met, but it is frustrating.

Well, here is a picture of our kids side by side. Look how big Zoe is getting. I am going to bet at her next Vet visit that she weighs around the same as Bogie. She isn't full grown yet. So, we will have to see how big she gets. It is will be a surprise. We don't think she will be to big. I love them dearly, Zoe is doing really well with her training. she is dong well at sit, all the way down, off, ringing the bell to go potty, and going in her kennel when asked. We are super proud. Bogie is doing good too. We can definitely see an attachment on Zoe's side. I think Zoe is still growing on Bogie, only because he has a dominate streak in him and wants to rule the roost. Since we got Zoe, we got Bogie a new crate from a garage sale, one that is more open. Before, we had a plastic type. He wasn't to happy with his crate, but we have seen the new one grow on him and he is going in it better.
Last night, Charles, Maggie, Josh and I were able to go to a Braves game. The new company I am working for has season tickets for most all of the sports teams in the Atl area. We got to go for free. It was so much fun and we were on the first base line. They were pretty close seats. Not on the bottom level, where you have the servers, but right behind them. It was a cool game. Learned some more about the game. It was the 2nd game vs the Phillies. I guess there is a rule about when there are 2 out, 3 ball, 2 strikes, and bases loaded. Every body was running and I didn't get it. CRAZY. Well, we had a really good time. Charles and Maggie are really good friends. I wish I had a picture of their adorable son on here. Random thought, but he is a cutie, and a smarty.
