House Sold

Super exciting news. Josh and I have sold our house. It was a lot of back and forth negotiating, but it is finally under contract with a speedy date for closing, Jan 31st, YIKES! We are super excited about this, and praise the Lord for every step of the way. This means we are definitly on track for Seminary this summer. I am super excited about the transition. We will be planning a visit shortly to make housing arrangement in KY. This weekend we are having a Moving Party. Anybody who wants to help should show up around 9am at the townhouse. Most of the work is heavy furniture moving. We will then take it all up to Dean and Judy's to unload. There we will serve a complimentary meal for everybodys hard work in helping us get this move done. So far I know Chris, Zach, Andy, Scott, Lauren, and Caitlyn will be there. If anybody else plans on coming please let me know. Can't wait to see you Saturday.

God answers prayers at just the right time! When Lazarus was dead for 3 days, Mary and Martha thought Jesus showed up late. They said "if only You had been here earlier things would have been soooo much better..." (that's my loose paraphrase)

But Jesus never comes in OUR time and with OUR solution... only in HIS perfect time and HIS perfect solution!

Though I know discouragement tempts all of us, I am so glad that you both kept your faith!

God will reward you richly for the way you have pressed on through the trials of the past year and a half.

He has wonderful plans for you. Someday you will look back and count all of this as a blessing.

I know Jennifer and I have seen trials come and go, and when we look back we can see how God has built our character and shown Himself marvelous. And since trials continue to come, I assume He must have a lot more work to do on us!

But as the book of James says, "Consider it all joy...."

God bless you guys!

Praise the Lord! We want to ask that all of your prayer partners become ours. Beverly and I have had our house on the market since last May in Tallahassee, FL. We are staying with my mom in AL which because of lack of space has not been easy on Beverly and Delaney. I have not been able to find employment since moving here in Sept. and we have spent almost all of our savings. It appears we will have to move somewhere else in order for me to find employment. I have interviewed with Shelby Computer Systems this week in Memphis for a software training job. Our house payment is oveer $2000 per month. While our jobs in Tallahassee paid well we just could not continue in the numbers focused, simple man centered understaning of salvation. We need God to sell our house. We need to not sin by worrying about things God has told us he will provide. We need all of you praying for us. We miss all of you and look forward to seeing you at some point in the future. Josh and Shana may the Lord Bless you and Keep you and may His blessing be upon you as you enter seminary.

Shana - I am really excited for you both. But, I am also trying not to be sad that you now live so far away and will soon live even further away. I am sorry I missed the party on Saturday!

Ken and Beverly - We are praying for you!
