Case-in-point...

The other day I blogged about Kevin Rudolf's song "I Made It." Tonight is the NFL Draft. Its on prime time television for the first time ever. The NFL is huge just so you know. As a league they made $6 billion last year. I'll be willing to bet that the draft tonight will out-rate all of the NBA playoff games combined played tonight. So the case study is that the NFL is the biggest sport in the U.S. The draft is the moment where 20 year old college stars find out if they are about to get paid millions of dollars for throwing a ball. This will be the moment that defines the rest of their lives.

Guess what the theme song is for ESPN's coverage of the draft? "I Made It." Why? Because for many this will be the best thing that ever happens to them in their lives and will be their defining moment.

If you are a believer in Jesus and have trusted him to be the Lord of your life, be thankful that no matter how great your life seems to be and no matter what your dreams are there is more. You didn't have to "make it." Jesus made it for you. He made it.
