Study Bibles

Here's a great article by Dr. Mohler about study Bible recommendations.

This is particularly helpful if you are wanting to get someone a Bible for Christmas.

I've very much enjoyned my Macarthur NKJV. Do you have an ESV, Josh?

I'm considering investing in a good "thin" Bible for me to take on trips and easily fit in my laptop bag. Any recommendations?

Andy,
I have an ESV and really like it. Its very readable but authentic to the text. A lot of profs use them here so I use it for class. I really want the ESV study Bible for Christmas. It's loaded.

I bought the Apologetics Study Bible last year at the ETS conference. It is really good. Great stuff in it. I have heard that the ESV is loaded with tons of material and even stuff that you are able to get access to online.

Jacob - I had Dr. Cabal (the editor of the Apologetics S.B.) for Philosophy this semester. Very good.
