The Emperor Of China

Tonight we had dinner with the Northrups. They are some of our great friends from church. Ben and Melissa are part of our student ministry. Angie made this great Mexican Lasagna and of course we had ice cream for dessert. Then we watched Tim Hawkins. He's the guy who does the Chic-Fil-A song. If you haven't seen it search for him on YouTube.

On the way there we stopped and got some flowers at the Kroger for a hostess gift. I dropped Shana off at the door and drove around the parking lot. As I was circling back around I noticed a Chinese restaurant (I always have trouble spelling "restaurant"). The name of this place was "The Emperor of China." I thought it to be a funny name. I wonder what a Chinese person would think of such a name? Do they name restaurants in China that serve burgers with a side of high fructose corn syrup "The President of the United States?" Maybe just "Barak's Place." I'm just sayin' its a weird name.

I totally see a Vegas Casino called Barak's Place. Give it 4 years.
